Meeting opened with Moment of Silence followed by Serenity Prayer. Steps, Concepts & 11th Tradition were read.

All registered Al-Anon Family Groups in the District are invited to participate.

__5__ of 15 Groups were represented, _4__ of 9 Officers were present, Total Meeting Attendance was _8__
Group Announcements (moves, anniversaries, outreach, activities, etc .)
· Everyone encouraged to support AIS Basket Auction on Sat., Nov. 21 at Divine Shepherd Lutheran 150-Q.
· Annual STC Celebration - Feb. 20, 2010, at Lewis and Clark Middle School (new location vs. prior years).

DR: Virg L (Present)
· Final Area 33 Assembly of 2009 (11/14-11/15) convened in North Platte, NE.
o 4 of 15 GRs and 2 of 9 District Officers attended.
o Group Donations summary:
§ $4935 from 15 of 17 districts (88%) & 76 of 161 Groups (47%)
§ $1138 (23%) from 12 of 15 (80%) District 18 groups
§ District 18 only composes 9% (15 of 161) of Area Groups
o Recommendations (AWSC) and GR voting results:
§ Approve the 2010 budget proposed by AWSC Passed (non-unanimously).
§ Proceed with Incorporation of Area 33 (due to liability reduction reasons) in State of NE Passed (non-unanimously).
§ Raise annual Area Reunion registration cost per participant to $20 Passed unanimously.
§ Special Collection Request to fund Area Public Outreach initiative Failed.
o Area 33 is looking for Regional Trustee nominations.
· District 18 still needs a Public Outreach Coordinator/Chair.
· District 18 guidelines for each Officer position were distributed by DR (for review/feedback before year-end).
Alt DR: Julie B (Absent)
· Julie provided feedback results from workshop survey. Overwhelmingly, respondents did not want a workshop. Main reasons: 1) numerous events already booked for AA/Al-Anon in local area; and 2) lack of volunteers.

· October, 2009 Minutes were read and approved.
Treasurer: Marlene G (Present)
In October, we collected donations of $14.42 from 11 attending.
Beginning Balance: $2192.14_ Receipts: $69.10__ Expenses:_$112.00 _ Ending Balance: $2149.24_
The Prudent Reserve stands at 3.5% above mandated level ($2075).
· Summary of 2009 District 18 Donations by Month for January through November (to date) was also provided.

· AIS Board meeting had not yet been held for November, 2009.
Alateen Coordinator: Diane A (Absent no report)
Archives: Susan N (Absent no report)
Public Outreach: (open Chair)
· Continue to need a chair for this committee.
Douglas County Corrections: Janice N (Absent No Report)
Calendar of Events /Web Site Liaison: Cesar G (Absent)
· Cesar distributed a Calendar of Events outline to GRs present at the meeting.

o 2009 Alcathon (12/24 12/25 6PM-6PM & 12/31-1/1/2010 6PM-6PM)
